Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Travopic mobile application (the "App") and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Travopic ("Travopic", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You sign in using your email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@travopic.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Using the Service

Travopic lets you create trips, invite others, split expenses, chat, and share photos and other content with the members of a trip. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service — your messages, photos, videos, expenses, documents, and other materials ("Your Content"). By adding Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display it solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the members of your trips.

You are responsible for Your Content and for making sure you have the right to share it. You must not upload content that infringes others' rights, is unlawful, or violates the acceptable use rules below.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, or violates the privacy or rights of others.
• Attempt to access accounts, trips, or data that are not yours.
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
• Use the Service to send spam or to collect others' information without their consent.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms.

6. Expense information

Travopic helps you record and split shared expenses among trip members. The amounts, balances, and "who owes whom" figures are provided for your convenience based on the information you and your trip members enter. Travopic does not process payments, transfer money, or verify the accuracy of any expense, and it is not a financial or accounting service. You are responsible for settling balances between yourselves.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including for cloud storage, authentication, and notifications) and is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Service availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update the App to add, change, or remove features. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will be preserved without loss.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travopic and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account by contacting support@travopic.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
